Mala Ojstrica
Day Tour, start from Podvežak Plateau (pick-up in Ljubljana or Logar Valley)
Hike up the towering mountains above the Logar Valley and visit Slovenia’s highest lying football playground for a friendly match against other hikers. We’ll conquer a green and friendly peak above a high Alpine meadow called the Korošica Plateau. Nestled among high mountains, the vast plateau is a perfect tour for young families and those who wish to take it easy and simply enjoy pristine nature in the Alps.

Itinerary
Starting from the Podvežak mountain valley, a nice easy trail takes us first through a forest to several glades, when it gradually becomes more rocky and passes slopes and plateaus until it reaches a pass between Koroški Vrh on the left and Mala Ojstrica on the right. Sedelce Pass is the definition of picturesque - a big plateau surrounded by big rocky peaks and the Korošica Hut somewhere in the middle. But before stopping for a rest in the plateau, we head more up to reach the top of the 2,017-m high Mt. Mala Ojstrica with stunning vistas of the pristine mountainous landscapes around. After a short photo stop at the top, we descend down to the Korošica Plateau for some relaxing time in an Alpine meadow. In the summer, we can bring with us a football for those who wish to spice up their hike with a match on a grassy field under great peaks. Please note that it's about 2.5-3 hours to the Korošica Plateau for adults, which should make a 3.5-hour walk up for young families.
