Itinerary
We meet in Lesce (10-minute drive from Bled) or Kranjska Gora, check our climbing gear, and head straight toward Gozd Martuljek, where the adventure begins. A short trail leads us through the forest, which soon opens up to reveal the start of the via ferrata. We gear up and begin a fairly challenging but incredibly rewarding climb. Once the climbing section is behind us, we can relax on a panoramic bench and enjoy the sweeping views of the high mountains across the valley. The ascent typically takes 2.5–3 hours, and the descent around 1 hour.
