Mangart via Ferrata

There are several routes of various difficulty level leading to the top of the third highest mountain in Slovenia. Explore this radiating mountain on the Slovenian route, a comfortable, well-secured and not too demanding a route suitable for beginners, families and other adventurers who seek fantastic views in a true Alpine vertical. Mangart is truly an amazing experience in the Alps.

Itinerary
After meeting at the Mangart Saddle and checking the climbing and hiking gear, we head towards the steep mountain. The trail is first easy but about half an hour later we'll enter the climbing section of the route. We'll put on our climbing harness and a helmet to continue with the ascent of the vertical. Since the route is fairly short, 2.5 hours for the ascent and 2 hours for the descent, it is one of the first recommended via ferrata routes for beginners. The trail is throughout panoramic, while the views are just breathtaking.
