Best of easier hiking in the Slovenian mountains! We explore stunningly beautiful mountains, where wild flowers grow in abundance and marmots peek from behind large rocks peppered on Alpine meadows. First we hike to the Triglav Lakes, an absolutely gorgeous area in the Triglav National Park, then visit Lake Krn, the biggest alpine lake of Slovenia, and finally explore the breathtaking Soča Valley. We spend three exhilarating days and two comfortable nights in the Julian Alps, hiking from one Alpine lake to another, dotted along the rugged mountainous stretch between Bohinj and the Soča Valley. We even conquer the scenic 2,244-m Krn peak! The experience in the mountains continues in the picturesque valley, where we explore numerous waterfalls and water-carved gorges along the Soča River, while also tackle a fun rafting adventure in the turquoise river.

Join us on a traverse across a remarkable kingdom of high-mountain lakes underneath towering steep walls. Arguably the most beautiful Alpine valley in Slovenia, the Triglav Lakes Valley extends about eight kilometers from the 1,294-m elevation above Lake Bohinj to the 1,933-m elevation, not too far from Triglav itself. We spend three beautiful days in the dramatic Triglav Lakes Valley, eat the traditional mountain food, sleep in two different mountain huts, and then return back down on probably the most scenic trail back to the Bohinj area. A breathtaking trek for the adventurous!

Krn, 2,244 m, the highest mountain of the Krn Mountains in the southwestern Julian Alps. The tour ends in the beautiful Soča Valley where we explore the emerald green Soča River, considered one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe, its gorges and countless waterfalls.
